Church Consultancy

Often it is hard to be objective when you are in the midst of an organisation, especially if that organisation is facing the turmoil of growth or change. Working within an agreed brief to produce a report and deliver any changes necessary within a training context can be very helpful to busy leaders. Below are some of my latest references.

“At my request, Mike did a consultation with our church staff team to look at our culture and vision and values and to make recommendations for how we could work better together. His consultation and ensuing report were really helpful to us and acted as a real catalyst for change. We were just reflecting recently on how far we have come and how beneficial some of the changes have been. Mike was a massive help in facilitating this – I can highly recommend him.”

Geoff Lee, Senior Minister Plymouth Christian Centre

I have known Mike personally for the better part of 15 years as a ministry colleague and friend and quickly came to realise that he is not just a speaker for good ideas but a proven practitioner of excellent leadership principles.

During my time as Associate Pastor in Bethel, Londons Riverside Church in Dagenham, Mike became a regular speaker and visitor to our church, inspiring us in leadership mentoring and sharing with our team some fo the principles behind how he has seen God significantly grow the church in Newquay under his leadership.  As we were about to embark on a building programme of our own at the time, he was instrumental in helping our team remain motivated and informed about the pathway before us.  Mike seems to have an amazing gift at raising leaders, acquiring facilities and implementing ministry according to the BIG vision.

I took on the leadership of the church in Lee, Lewisham SE London in 2013 and Mike I have remained connected with Mike and Shelagh.  He has taught and preached at our church on a number of occasions and spent time with our leaders, both existing and emerging, infusing them with his passion and compelling people to see a bigger vision.  Mike ALWAYS does his research on local communities, well, which so helps to connect his teaching with the local church’s ministry expression.

Always humble and always passionate, Mike remains a good friend to our church leadership team and to me personally.  He is often in demand as a speaker for our leadership events and continues to remain an encouragement to our formation as a church transitioning to a new future.

Nick Hughes, Senior Minister, Emmanuel Gateway Church, London

I have known Mike Robins for many years and he has been a tremendous help on my personal ministry journey and also to my church, London Riverside Church in Dagenham. His support, advice, and wisdom when builders went “belly up” on our £3.2M building project was invaluable. Encouragement during that time until we managed to get the project back on track and completed was continual. A true and faithful friend is Mike.

Having had him preach here in Dagenham, spent many hours with him in his home and on the road, I observe him as a man of passion, integrity, and relationship. In Mike, what you see is what you get! He is a brilliant thinker, strategic leader, trainer and releaser of leaders, planter of churches and a “can do” person with his heart totally on fire for God, working out ministry with his feet firmly planted on the ground.

The influence of Mike’s ministry is felt powerfully in the UK and overseas with countless leaders being released to serve the church from his Academy Training programme. I wholeheartedly endorse his ministry and would open my church platform at any time to him. Ken Williamson (decd.) Senior Minister, London Riverside Church, Dagenham
