What Church Leaders say about Pulse…
Coventry Elim Church - We recently completed Pulse at Coventry Elim, designed to assess the health of our church community. The experience was extremely positive from start to finish! The survey was thoughtfully designed, easy to navigate, and asked questions that genuinely prompted reflection about the life and culture of our church. Mike did a brilliant job of carefully guiding us through the process, always making us feel like he was 'cheering for us' rather than looking to ‘catch us out.'
The questions asked encouraged honest feedback, helping us identify areas of strength as well as areas that need improvement. It created space for our congregation to express their perspectives and gave our leadership team valuable insight into how people are experiencing church life. The whole process felt constructive rather than critical.
We have loved the clarity of the reporting and the way the results highlighted both the encouragements we can celebrate and the opportunities for growth. It has already helped guide meaningful conversations among our leaders and will play an important role in shaping our next steps as a church.
Overall, the Pulse Check survey has been an extremely well-delivered, insightful, and encouraging resource for our local church. We would highly recommend it to other leaders seeking a clear, constructive way to listen to their congregation and strengthen their community's health.

Steve Ball, Elim NLT and Regional Leader (South) - The feedback that I have received from church leaders who have completed “The Pulse” is very encouraging. It is proving to be a vital tool for assessing the true health of a church and pinpointing areas of church life that might need attention. I commend it to you.
Steve Ball, Elim Regional Leader and Member of Elim NLT
Rediscover Church, Exeter - Pulse 360 has been an important part of a transition moment for us as a Church. The results gave us a good read of the health of the church, revealing strengths and weaknesses that need our attention. As the poll is anonymous, we feel the results are more accurate than what we would be able to glean as leaders. The next steps and key focus allow us to formulate a plan to grow in those weaker areas.
Rev Mike de Vetter, Ministry Lead, Associate Pastor, Rediscover Church, Exeter
Stuart Blount, Elim NLT - As part of Elim’s National Leadership Team, I am pleased to recommend the Healthy Church Pulse programme led by Mike Robbins.
At a time when many church leaders and communities are navigating significant challenges, it is vital that we prioritise the development of healthy church cultures. Elim is deeply committed not only to church growth, but to healthy, sustainable growth. As with the human body, growth alone is not an indicator of health; the same is true for the Church.
The Healthy Church Pulse provides a valuable framework for honest reflection, helping church communities assess their health in alignment with Christ’s design for His Church. A number of Elim churches have already benefited significantly from engaging with this process.
I would warmly encourage you to consider this journey. I am confident it will prove both helpful and rewarding.”
Stuart Blount, Director of Ministry, Elim Pentecostal Church
Wave House Church, Newquay - As a new minister in a church, I ran Pulse around 6 months into my time here. It was a really useful way to assess where we were up to as a church, what needed addressing and where we were seeing some wins as well! Having it anonymous was super helpful for church members to be honest and open with their feedback! A great resource which I would highly recommend!
Rev Jamie Price, Lead Pastor, Wave House Church, Newquay
Hope Church - Bournemouth - Church pulse helped us to dig deeper and shed light on those areas that needed our attention. The report was full of encouragement, highlighting strong areas at the same time, helping to see where we needed to address. The survey was accessible and easy to follow. The results have helped us shape the ministry of the church, moving it toward a healthier church for all.
Rev Liam Husband, Minister, Hope Community Church Bournemouth
Delancey Elim Church, Guernsey - The insights gained from Pulse 360 have greatly helped us identify areas for growth and improvement, enabling us to better align our mission with our congregation's needs. The user-friendly format and thoughtful questions made it easy to engage with. Overall, my experience with Pulse 360 has been incredibly positive, and I believe it's an essential initiative for any church aiming to strengthen its community ties and enhance its impact. Kudos to Mike Robins and the team for implementing such a valuable resource!
Rev Benn Duncan, Senior Leader, Delancy Elim Church, Guernsey
Letchworth Garden City Church, Letchworth - Pulse has been an incredibly valuable and insightful process for us as a church. It has helped us clearly see both our strengths and the areas where we need to grow, providing not just data but a meaningful pathway forward. While some of the insights require honest reflection, that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. It helps create healthier churches that grow healthier disciples. I would highly recommend Pulse to any church that is serious about understanding its culture and moving forward with clarity, purpose, and faith.
Rev Carl Johnston, Senior Leader, Letchworth Garden City Church, Letchworth
BH1 Church, Bournemouth - We are so thankful for the opportunity to engage with Mike and the Pulse 360 program. This has helped us as a church highlight key areas that need attention, as well as encourage us in what we are already doing well. This is a vital tool in combating complacency in church settings and is highly recommended.
